  1. What age groups do you cater to at The Kids Shed? We offer woodwork/craft classes for kids aged 5-8 years old and 9+ years old.

  2. What are the class timings and availability? Classes are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after school. We also have sessions on Tuesday during school hours for homeschool kids.

  3. Where is The Kids Shed located? We are located at 8 Calvary Road in Mount Gambier, South Australia. 

  4. What skills do kids learn in your classes? Our classes focus on building confidence in using tools, developing fine motor skills, fostering creativity, and encouraging teamwork.

  5. Do kids need any prior experience or skills to join? No prior experience is required. Our classes are designed for beginners and experienced young builders alike.

  6. Are the classes safe for kids? Yes, safety is our top priority. We provide age-appropriate tools and equipment, along with supervision and guidance from experienced instructor.

  7. Can parents/guardians stay during the classes? No, parents/guardians are not allowed to stay during classes. This policy helps create a focused and independent learning environment for the kids.

  8. Do you offer private/group classes or workshops? Yes, we can arrange private classes, group workshops, or special events. Please contact us for more information and availability.

  9. What materials are provided in the classes? We provide all necessary materials, tools, and safety gear for the classes.

  10. What is your cancellation or refund policy? We do not provide refunds for cancellations, but we will always try to reschedule if space is available on a different day.

  11. Can kids bring their own projects or ideas to work on? Absolutely! Kids can bring their own project ideas, and we will always try to implement them into the classes. During the last week or two of the term, kids can finish unfinished projects or have a free choice to build what they want.

  12. My child has a disability. Can they still participate in the classes? Yes, we welcome children with disabilities and strive to accommodate their needs. Please contact us for more information and assistance.

  13. How can I enroll my child in The Kids Shed classes? Before the start of the term, parents can enroll their child by booking one of the available timeslots on The Kids Shed website. During the term, parents should contact The Kids Shed to check for availability.
